My 100th Deviation! Woo!
People kept saying to me "DJRD! You're the founder of a Luna fan group, but you haven't drawn any Luna!" Well, until recently my skills were not good enough to draw anything worthy of my favorite (read:best) pony. Until now.
This one took me FOREVER. I spent a lot of time studying techniques, getting live critique, and generally trying to improve myself. I think it's paying off.
The piece took me about 3 days of on and off work. It's still not where I'd like it to be, but it's about as done as I can make it without overdoing it and destroying the whole thing.
Special Thanks go to ApplejackSmack, Popprocks, and other members of r/MLPDrawingSchool for their help and critique! If I find any of their dA pages, I'll link them here in an edit.
Don't ask me why the Princess looks unhappy, I don't know.
EDIT: By popular demand, The Princess has cheered up a bit.
